17-year-old Shin Ohashi won men's 200m breaststroke gold at the Asian Games in Tokyo on Thursday in 2:04.83, a world record. He cut more than half a second off China's Qin Haiyang's mark from July 2023. Denis Petrashov took silver, 3.84 seconds behind.
