Ancestors wins FIPRESCI critics' prize at Toronto

David Turpin's Ancestors, the Irish writer-director's first feature about connections made and lost as AIDS ravaged London's queer community in the late 1980s, won the FIPRESCI critics' prize after its Toronto Film Festival premiere, Variety reported on 24 September.
