U.S. Extends China Trade Truce as Trump Hosts Xi

The U.S. said its trade truce with China — a pause on new tariffs — was extended as President Donald Trump welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping to Washington on Sept. 24. Reuters reported Sept. 23 that trade, technology, Iran and Taiwan top the agenda for the talks.
