NRL to redirect roughly A$1m Grand Final entertainment budget to children's sport

The NRL says it will not book a replacement act for the Grand Final pre-show at Sydney's Accor Stadium on Oct. 4 and will instead funnel the entertainment budget to sports programs for underprivileged children. Australian Rugby League Commission chair Peter V'landys put the cost at roughly A$1 million.
