Albanese and Trump grinned for another selfie on the sidelines of the United Nations in New York on 23 September. Photos show them in front of gold panelling and a US flag. Albanese later faced reporters — a doorstop — and was asked about sitting in on Trump's General Assembly speech. Friendly optics. Nothing settled.
