Carney suggests global group to set safety rules for AI

Prime Minister Mark Carney has talked to other world leaders about creating a global 'technology stability' board, a group to set rules for artificial intelligence, systems that can learn and write, Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon said Sept. 23. Solomon said he then met with foreign officials. Canada is working with partners on AI safety, he said.
