Brent spot crude jumped $21.29 in six days to $130.80
$130.80 a barrel on Sept. 15, 2026. That's the Brent-Europe spot price — the cost for immediate delivery — up from $109.51 on Sept. 9, FRED data show. That's up $21.29 in six days. In my view, that speed is what to watch for fuel costs and inflation, or rising prices. It's separate from futures, or prices for later delivery.
