Outkast sue Oakland rapper Ovrkast over stage name

Outkast, the duo of André 3000 and Big Boi, have sued Oakland rapper-producer Ovrkast over his stage name. High Schoolers LLC, which handles Outkast's trademark, filed the case in Georgia on 16 September, Pitchfork reported. The complaint alleges trademark infringement, the claim one name steps too close to a protected brand, over unauthorised use of a nearly identical name.
