New Zealand First wants jobs goal back for Reserve Bank

New Zealand First says it wants to restore the Reserve Bank's dual mandate, where the bank must weigh jobs as well as inflation when setting interest rates. The party voted for the December 2023 law that made inflation the sole focus. Labour has also promised to bring back the dual mandate.
