Brent oil falls 3.4% to $100.34 on U.S.-Iran hopes

Brent November futures settled at $100.34 a barrel, down $3.53 or 3.4%, Reuters reported Sept. 21, on U.S.-Iran diplomacy hopes. Cheaper oil can ease fuel prices and inflation, the rate prices rise, which affects loan costs. But further strikes or failed talks could reverse the drop fast.
