Earl Spencer claims Charles said Diana would soon be forgotten

Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer and brother of Diana, Princess of Wales, claims in his memoir Swan Song: Diana, my sister that then-Prince Charles said "We'll forget her soon enough" on the phone days after Diana's 1997 death. Buckingham Palace said grief can "cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory."
