Kairos Taps Samsung C&T to Build 50-MW Reactor for Google

Kairos Power chose Samsung C&T to build a 50-megawatt test reactor for Google, due by 2030. The deal is worth up to $100 million, including a $70 million ownership stake plus engineering work provided as services. Its power counts as the first 50 megawatts of about half a gigawatt (500 megawatts) Kairos agreed in 2024 to supply Google by 2035.
