Kairos Selects Samsung C&T for 50-MW Google Reactor Build

Kairos Power selected Samsung C&T to help build its 50-megawatt demonstration reactor for Google, targeting completion by 2030. The package is worth up to $100 million, comprising a $70 million equity investment plus in-kind engineering services. Output will count as the first 50 megawatts under Kairos's 2024 deal to supply Google with about half a gigawatt by 2035.
