GM Blends Phone Projection With Truck Controls for 2027 Pickups

GM unveiled Sept. 15, 2026 a new interface for the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra that runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto — phone systems projected to the dash — alongside built-in controls. Phone apps appear in a small window next to climate, camera and towing readouts. Gas trucks keep projection; EVs stay with built-in Android Automotive software.
