GM Unveils Integrated CarPlay and Android Auto UI for 2027 Silverado, Sierra

GM unveiled September 15, 2026 a new truck interface integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with native functions, debuting on the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. The system keeps phone projection in picture-in-picture alongside climate, camera and tow status, preserving projection in gas trucks while EVs remain on native Android Automotive.
