Apple Holds Back Siri AI Test in EU Over Data-Sharing Rule

Apple Accounts based in the EU will not get the Siri AI beta, a test release, in iOS 27. Under the Digital Markets Act, the European Commission says rival assistants must get the same system data Siri uses, including emails, messages and on-device content. Apple says sharing that access could threaten user privacy.
