Apple Withholds Siri AI in EU Over DMA Data-Sharing Dispute

Apple has excluded European Union Apple Accounts from the Siri AI beta in iOS 27. The Commission requires equal access for rival AIs to the system data Siri uses — emails, messages and on-device content — under the Digital Markets Act. Apple says opening that access could threaten user privacy.
