Ukraine Uses Pelican Weapon for First Time in Sept. 20 Strike on Russia

Ukraine used its Pelican weapon for the first time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, in a large overnight strike on Russia on Sept. 20. The attack also used cruise missiles — guided weapons that travel long distances — and explosive drones. It followed Zelenskyy’s Sept. 19 approval of new long-range operations after Russian attacks.
