Alan Jones Case Narrows as 2012 Charge Is Dropped

Prosecutors dropped the allegation that former broadcaster Alan Jones, 85, touched and squeezed complainant F's bottom at a September 2012 public event. Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court dismissed that count — one formal charge — on 21 September 2026. Jones denies the remaining 21 indecent assault and sexual touching charges involving five alleged victims.
