25,000+ migrants sent to countries other than their own, probe finds

More than 25,000 people were deported to countries other than their own under the Trump administration, a Sept. 21 Deportation Project investigation found. About 20,000 were bussed to Mexico, according to Refugees International and Human Rights First. More than 5,000 others were flown to 28 countries across Africa, Latin America and Central Asia, tracked through 100-plus flights.
