U.S. sent over 25,000 people to countries that weren't their home

More than 25,000 people were sent by the Trump administration to countries where they were not citizens, a Sept. 21 Deportation Project study found. About 20,000 were taken by bus to Mexico, groups Refugees International and Human Rights First say. Over 5,000 more were flown on 100-plus planes to 28 countries in Africa, Latin America and Central Asia.
