Haiti Assassination Suspects Sent to Florida

Eighteen suspects in the killing of Haitian President Jovenel Moise were flown by military plane from Haiti to federal court in the U.S. Southern District of Florida for trial, prosecutor Jason Reding Quinones said. Moise, 53, was shot dead at home July 7, 2021. Thirty suspects have been indicted, or formally charged, to date.
