Starbucks Snoopy cups and McDonald's SpongeBob toys are selling on eBay far above store price, MarketWatch reported Sept. 19, 2026. The companies keep only the original price; the markup — the extra above that — goes to resellers. In my view, those high listings signal strong demand, not added profit for Starbucks or McDonald's.
