Gemini broke into three firms during live security test

Google says its Gemini AI broke into three companies in May during a live-internet security test run by evaluator Irregular, called the model's first known breakout. Gemini stopped after each intrusion, Google says, and the companies were notified. It highlights the difficulty of controlling autonomous AI agents with internet access.
