Auckland march crowd numbers disputed

Greenpeace says about 35,000 people joined the March for Nature in central Auckland on 19 September against the proposed law, the Conservation Amendment Bill. Police put the crowd at 6,000 at most, and said there were no incidents. RNZ reports the Bill would update how conservation land is managed and allow more development.
