Bastion Wins Early Approval for Federal Trust Bank

Bastion said Sept. 18, 2026, it won preliminary conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency — the federal bank regulator — for a national trust bank charter. That would add federal oversight on top of its existing state licenses. The approval is conditional: Bastion still can't start trust operations.
