Waymo resumes San Antonio driverless taxis after flood pause

Waymo has restarted driverless taxi service in San Antonio, five months after April 20 flash flooding swept an empty vehicle into Salado Creek. The service covers 60 miles, including downtown and San Antonio International Airport, with dozens of vehicles, initially for some riders. Waymo now offers paid rides in 15 U.S. cities.
