
ISIS-K Member Gets 20 Years Over Abbey Gate Airport Bombing
Afghan national Mohammad Sharifullah, an ISIS-K member known as 'Jafar' — ISIS-K is the Afghan branch of the Islamic State — was sentenced to 20 years in prison Sept. 16 by a federal judge. A Virginia jury had convicted him of helping a terrorist group in the Abbey Gate bombing at Kabul airport during the U.S. withdrawal and other attacks.
