ISIS-K Member Sentenced to 20 Years for Abbey Gate Bombing

A federal judge sentenced Afghan national Mohammad Sharifullah, an ISIS-K member also known as "Jafar," to 20 years in prison on Sept. 16 for the Abbey Gate bombing at Kabul airport during the U.S. withdrawal and other attacks. A Virginia jury had convicted him of providing material support to a terrorist organization.
