Australia Weighs Smart Glasses Ban Across Federal Agencies

Australia's Albanese government may ban smart glasses — eyeglasses with built-in cameras and microphones — in Commonwealth offices, Centrelink service centres and CSIRO laboratories. Public Service Minister Katy Gallagher asked the public service for advice, citing privacy and security risks from recording. No national government has yet imposed a ban this broad.
