Drone Strikes Disable Saudi East-West Pipeline, Cutting 4-5 Million Barrels a Day

Drone strikes shut down part of Saudi Arabia's 1,200-km East-West pipeline in the week before Sept. 17, blocking oil flow from eastern fields to Yanbu on the Red Sea. That removes 4-5 million barrels per day from supply. With the Strait of Hormuz largely closed since Feb. 28, the Associated Press puts repairs at three to five weeks.
