Drone Attacks Shut Saudi East-West Pipeline, Removing 4-5 Million Barrels Daily

Drone attacks disabled part of Saudi Arabia's 1,200km East-West pipeline in the week before Sept. 17, halting flow from eastern fields to Yanbu on the Red Sea and removing 4-5 million barrels per day from supply. With the Strait of Hormuz largely closed since Feb. 28, the Associated Press estimated repairs at three to five weeks.
