December gas futures top ECB's adverse case

December Dutch TTF gas futures, Europe's benchmark, hit 79.131 euros per megawatt hour, CME Group data show, above the European Central Bank's adverse case of 77 euros and baseline of 60.1 euros, Reuters reported Sept. 14. That means extra upward pressure on inflation — broad price rises — for bills and borrowing costs.
