Fiji Declares National Health Emergency Over HIV Outbreak

Fiji has declared HIV a national health emergency, health minister Dr Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu announced after a 9 September cabinet decision. The government says the emergency status lets all ministries — not just health — coordinate more closely against the outbreak.
