Supplier backs Foodstuffs split plan

Food supplier Daniel Shields told RNZ's Midday Report that splitting up Foodstuffs, as the National Party proposes, would be one of the most efficient ways to lift grocery competition. Shields, who owns Naked Kitchen, Barrys Bay Cheese and Cool & Fresh, said it would make Pak'nSave and New World compete with each other.
