Wayve hires former Waymo finance chief Elisa de Martel

Wayve has hired Elisa de Martel as chief financial officer. De Martel held the same finance role at Waymo from 2022 to January 2026, when Waymo started paid rides in several cities and raised $5.6 billion. She replaces Max Warburton, now strategic adviser, and will work from Sunnyvale on financial strategy, spending decisions and oversight.
