Wayve hires Elisa de Martel from Waymo to run its finances

Wayve has hired Elisa de Martel to lead its finances. De Martel ran finances at Waymo from 2022 to January 2026, when Waymo launched paid rides in several cities and raised $5.6 billion. She replaces Max Warburton, now strategic adviser, and will be based in Sunnyvale managing budgets, spending and financial controls.
