Snap to launch $2,195 Specs AR glasses on September 16

Snap will launch its Specs AR glasses in Los Angeles on September 16, with CEO Evan Spiegel keynoting at 4PM PT. The $2,195 glasses, which overlay digital images on the real world, were first shown at Augmented World Expo earlier in 2026. Pre-orders opened then with a $200 refundable deposit.
