Snap to launch $2,195 Specs glasses on September 16

Snap will launch its Specs glasses in Los Angeles on September 16, with chief executive Evan Spiegel speaking at 4PM PT. The $2,195 glasses work like sunglasses that show computer images over the real world. Snap first showed them at Augmented World Expo earlier in 2026 and opened pre-orders with a $200 refundable deposit.
