OpenAI Tests Sponsored Agents That Open Separate Ad Chats

OpenAI is testing Sponsored Agents in ChatGPT with select U.S. advertisers. Clicking an ad opens a new, clearly labeled chat run by the advertiser, kept separate from the user's original thread and from ChatGPT's own independent answers.
