ChatGPT Is Testing Ads That Open Their Own Chats

OpenAI is testing a feature called Sponsored Agents in ChatGPT with a small group of U.S. businesses. Tapping an ad opens a separate chat, clearly marked as paid for by that business. It sits apart from your original chat and from ChatGPT's normal, independent answers.
