SK Hynix Considers Making Memory Chips in U.S. With Intel

SK Hynix is talking with Intel about producing RAM — the short-term memory computers use to run programs — in the United States for the first time. The report came Sept. 16, 2026. SK Hynix said it is exploring options to stay globally competitive, but no specific plans have been finalized.
