Fluxnium raises $7M to pull uranium from seawater

Fluxnium has closed a $7 million seed round led by Congruent Ventures, with Constellation Energy participating, to commercialize uranium extraction from seawater. Founder Jeff Green’s startup licenses U.S. Energy Department polymer-fiber chemistry that traps dissolved uranium for onshore refining into yellowcake, the powder utilities already buy for nuclear fuel.
