
Fluxnium raises $7M to make nuclear fuel from seawater
Fluxnium has raised $7 million in early funding led by Congruent Ventures, with Constellation Energy joining, to pull nuclear fuel from seawater. Founder Jeff Green’s startup licenses a U.S. Energy Department design for plastic fibers that work like tea bags, soaking up dissolved uranium for land-based processing into yellowcake powder utilities already buy for fuel.
