India Protests Naval Collision With Pakistan in Arabian Sea

India called in Pakistan's diplomat in New Delhi on Sept. 16 to protest the Sept. 15 collision in the Arabian Sea. Its foreign ministry says a Pakistani ship hit its warship in international waters, waters beyond any control. Pakistan had not commented as of Sept. 16. With no ambassadors since 2019, I read this as a warning to avoid escalation.
