Nandy plans new offence for publishing home addresses

Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy said she will change the law to make doxxing, publishing someone’s home address online, a criminal offence. She said it is currently illegal only if done to cause fear, harm or distress. She spoke after RNLI volunteers were targeted online after rescues in the Channel.
