Rotherham Ranks Lowest for Youth Job Opportunities, IPPR Index Finds

Rotherham offers Britain's weakest job prospects for young people, with 46 advertised openings per 1,000 young people, according to IPPR's new local youth opportunity index. The Cotswolds leads with 288 — more than six times higher. The national average is 109, and nine of the top 10 areas are in the south of England.
