Rotherham has fewest youth jobs in Britain, IPPR index finds

Rotherham has the fewest suitable job opportunities for young people in Britain, with 46 online vacancies per 1,000 young people, according to IPPR's new 'local youth opportunity index'. The Cotswolds records 288, a sixfold gap. The national average is 109, and nine of the 10 best areas are in the south of England.
