Bristol Becomes First UK City to Ban Fast-Fashion Ads

Bristol has become the first British city to ban fast-fashion advertising, after its Green-led council approved the policy 8-1. The ban applies to council-owned billboards, bus shelters, print and online spaces. The council says it aims to reduce exposure to high-carbon clothing — clothes with a large climate impact — and encourage greener choices.
