MediaTek announces Dimensity 9600 Pro, its first TSMC 2nm flagship

MediaTek has announced the Dimensity 9600 Pro, its top-tier smartphone chip and its first built on TSMC's 2-nanometer N2P manufacturing process, a denser production method that packs more transistors. The company showed the chip at a press event in Taipei, Taiwan on September 11, 2026.
